I am also using this for striping on home-built remote control planes - another reviewer was using this for model planes too. Very happy with this tape. It is MUCH lighter than duct tape but it still adheres well to the surface.It is very easy to cut this tape with an exacto knife. The colors are vibrant and a slight bit transparent. Being slightly transparent could make for some neat overlapping to make gradations in the color. I've tried that a bit on one plane and I'm going to test it on a few others.One other thing, I bought one roll of this tape from an RC air show last summer. It looks identical to the red and I paid $4.00 for it. This stuff works out to be $4.63 a roll shipped. I'm not complaining since there are more colors in this package than were available at the show. And summer is quite a ways off.
