JVCC OPP-26C Premium Grade Colored Packaging Tape consists of a high-quality solvent-based acrylic adhesive and a strong film which makes this tape an excellent choice for demanding carton sealing, splicing, and color-coding applications. Extra thickness allows for one strip sealing which provides for a cleaner look when applying colored tape. The tape comes in 5 translucent colors so for the lighter colors objects can be seen underneath. NOTES: Sizes shipped will typically be the tape industry standard metric-cut sizes, i.e. 24mm for each 1 inch of nominal tape width ordered (rolls are approximately 5% narrower than the nominal size). This product's actual size is 48mm x 66m. This tape is typically cut to width from log rolls so most sizes ship on non-branded plain white cores. As with any adhesive tape product it is always the user's responsibility to determine that the product is suitable for their intended use; e.g. if you want to remove a product cleanly from a specific type of substrate please test on an inconspicuous area first. This tape is good for one reason: it allows you to segregate cartons, ie. a different color for a different room/ or file cabinet/ in a very obvious way...buy color...you just color code the boxes with the tape. However, it is not a strong carton sealer. I would advise sealing cartons with heavy duty clear tape and then put the colored tape over it. I just recently closed my office and needed to have cartons dropped off to two locations. The movers loved it! It made it easy for them to deliver the right cartons too the right location. It became a no-brainer. But the tape is not strong enough and tears easily for just sealing boxes securely for travel. I am so glad I thought of doing this because it saved me aggravation! .And that was well worth a few dollars extra.This is not what one might consider 'Duct Tape'. It is relatively thin and not stretchy. I wanted it simply for marking packed boxes in an obvious manner for moving. I am not using it as I would use packing tape--I'm simply putting about 6" strip on the top/side of the box as a flag of sorts. Considering the price, that's about all I'd care to use it for. The red color does come off with the sticky adhesive if you're not careful when you stick it on, so be wary what you use it on.If you just wish to use it as a marker, this works fine. But for taping things, I'm not really impressed.I needed multiple rolls of colored tape so glancing at the image above made me think what a perfect match at a great price. But you do not get what the image depicts you get 1 roll of white tape for $10 after shipping... I could have gotten 1 roll of white tape at the store for a few bucks. Change the deceptive image.Exactly what I needed to make fruit boxes for a school fundraiser! Had a hard time finding green and red tape. Thank you!Ok as expected.okUsed while moving to designate those boxes as "fragile". The red tape was highly visible and worked perfect for the application. No complaints at all. Would buy again.The color is great and the tape looks fun and unique on padded mailers and shipping boxes. Friends enjoy it too!
